Need a new toaster oven

Old toaster took a dump so it's time for something new.

This one seemed to get pretty good ratings.

Oster 6-Slice Toaster Oven - Stainless Steel (6297)

Anyone recommend this one or another?

One thing I found out is that there isn't a standard width to those things. So if your old one is in a tight spot on your counter be sure you measure the new one to ensure it will fit.

I currently have a Sunbeam and think its just fine, I like that it has a timer. My old Black and Decker didn't. We use ours multiple times daily. We never seem to get more than 5 years out of them. On the bright side they are pretty cheap.

Mine just sits on the counter. I have plenty of room for whatever I buy.

Old black and decker toasters are the best I've ever used. They don't make them nearly as good as they used to. Very disappointed with the toaster market today. I'd try to find a used one off of ebay - yes they are that good

I was looking at an Oster like that last year (I remember old toaster ovens being stainless), but my Mom ended up buying me a black and decker for my birthday...

That is the exact model Cuisinart that Mrs CanopyFlyer and I have and we love it. Our range was delayed by a week when we moved into our new house, so the Cuisinart had to take up all the cooking duty. It performed great.

that's the same one I had. I loved the old design with the push down toast thing. Now almost all the toaster ovens i see are all knobs.

I didn't bring it w/ my when i moved from CA to HI, I wonder if my parents gave it to charity yet like they said they would. Maybe i should ship it over if no one makes good ones anymore. I haven't even looked yet, i don't even have a microwave yet

F'ing Sunbeam broke. It was about 2 years old. The timer went first and about a week later the top element burned out.

It's starting to look like it will be hard to replace. Many of them are getting to be the size of a small microwave and most are stainless steel. I need a small white one. I saw one in Target but I never heard of the brand. I guess I will try it out.

I love mine. All electronic, it has a bun warmer and a pull-out bottom tray so it's easy to clean the bottom.

I saw that one in LnT today. Looked cool but too big for the space I have. I only have a width 14.75".

I ended up getting this one at Target. It's a Hamilton Beach. It's a little smaller than the one it's replacing but it's big enough to hold a 3 slice frozen pizza which is all I really care about. One negative is that it doesn't have an oven timer.

We're looking at a replacement toaster oven. I don't think i want to get one with an lcd display, just something that will break that isn't necessary.

Toaster oven > full size oven.

I think I use mine at least 3 times as much as the big one.

Totally agree^ Had one, loved it! Can't wait until this metal box, with tiny slots in the top, on my kitchen counter breaks, so I can buy another toaster oven!

Had a bunch of cheap ones and finally got a nice one, what a difference and we hardly use the real oven anymore.

We got a tob-60 from bby for $80 with their 20% coupon. I looked at the breville too, but it was much heavier. We move the toaster oven from it's storage spot to where we use it on the counter. I wanted to make sure the mrs. was able to lift it also and the breville was much heavier.
