marinating chicken wings (asian style)

here's how i marinate chicken wings. try it if you like.

you need:

pack of wings, the one i bought has 12 wings in it
oyster sauce
garlic powder (or you can use minced garlic if you like)
salt
sugar
soy sauce (or teriyaki sauce if you like it sweeter)

put the wings in a large bowl
pour oyster sauce on wings. just enough to cover the top layer
sprinkle garlic powder on top, again, just enough to cover
about 1/2 teaspoon of salt
1 teaspoon of sugar (+/- depending how sweet you like it)
1 Tablespoon of soy sauce OR teriyaki sauce
mix it all together
refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor

The Thai wings you bake 425 degrees for 25min.

If I had to guess on the Asian wings you bake or grill them at a temp around 350 degrees so you don't burn the sugar.

oops never checked this thread again...

um, to answer mizouse, thats because you have the heat too high. and i bake it until its golden brown (or even almost to a burnt crisp) on both sides, never comes out raw on the inside
