Made an awesome meal tonight.

Started by marinating a nice thick cut of meat in sesame ginger marinade all day.

Then, I went out and bought some fresh raviloi. Mushroom and riccotta. Along with a fresh loaf of a rustic style wheat bread...with nice crispy crust.

I slow cooked the steak on a very low setting. Took it off when it was medium rare, let it settle and cut it half and put half back on the grill (fiance likes well done )

I carved up my portion of the steak into smaller cubes. The same was done for her well done portion.

In a sauce pan, I put the remnants of the marinade from the bag the steak was in, along with the all the juices from the cooked steak when I cut it up. I added some red cooking wine, and made a reduction sauce of the whole thing.

The pasta cooked in like 2 minutes it was so fresh...drain it and added a little butter.

I threw some raviolis on the plates, drizzled some of the sauce and added the cut up steak.

To go with it I lightly toasted some of the bread.

I'm very full now....burp.

Store bought? Home made? Recipe? What cut of meat?

It sounds really interesting. I would like to give it a try.

Cant remember the cut off meat now, too long ago. I think it was a simple ribeye or something along those lines.
