Help with Indian Food?

You can come over to my house for dinner sometime.
<----Indian.
Exactly what kind of indian food you like. South indian, Gujrati, Punjabi etc.
Punjabi here, so no problem cooking any kind of Punjabi food.
Gujrati food, I have a Gujrati friend, she can help me out with that.
South Indian, anything about that.

Burning Brakes
I am also indian (slurpee, not casino).
If you decide to go the prepackaged route I'd recommend anything by MTR or "Kitchens of India" <- made by one of the best hotel chains in the country. Patak's stuff is even available in kansas so im sure you can get a hold of it in cali. world market has some good things too.

I went to a good Indian restaurant once, we let my cousin's bf do all the ordering, so I have no clue what I had - it was awesome, but I smelled like curry the next day, lol.
I buy the best Tikka Masala sauce at Whole Foods - Tiger Tiger brand - saute chicken strips, add sauce, simmer 10 min, serve with jasmine rice, naan and yogurt sauce (kinda like Greek tzatziki).
