breadmaker recommendations?
breadmaker recommendations?
i thought about getting one of these for my gf as a present. never used one though, so not sure what a good brand/model is. also, do they work pretty well overall? will i ever have to buy bread in the supermarket again?
I have the Breadman, too. Good machine. I've also used a Kitchen Aid that was good as well. You'll probably still have to buy bread from the store unless you're really dedicated, as was said before. Really good bread comes out of them, though, I love mine!
Breadman probably makes the best machine, I concur. You will definitely need to buy bread in the supermarket again, but the bread machine is great for making specialty breads or regular breads for special occasions... Basically your loaves aren't going to come out looking like wonder bread, no matter what you do.
But you can make so much more than loaf bread in a Breadman; pizza crust, croissants, any kind of pastry crust, biscuits, etc. DEFINITELY a cool addition to any kitchen!
