You don't feel the same way? The same cars from FM4 repackaged into fancy car packs in Horizon and FM5 that we have to pay more for. Not actually getting the cars we want, some of them being the most popular cars in the world right now. It doesn't make any sense.

The Caterham suffers from severe snap oversteer when driving at 10/10ths, but I'm working on tuning it out. Other than that, it's fast. The other cars don't intrigue me one bit though.

As for the C7, F-Type, M4 - that's on GT6.

T10 at its finest....I'm starting to hate this game; not because of the game play, which is excellent, but because of the content and the fact that T10 seems to be regurgitating the same stuff over and over again.

The Caterham is fun as hell. Like you said, it's plagued by snap understeer, but it's still fun to drive.

In the long run, T10 needs to realize that a very very small percentage of people would rather see an Escort 1800 in Forza than the currently most talked about cars on the road (C7, M3/M4, etc.).

And back to the whole "quality over quantity" that T10 uses to defend the lack of cars and tracks, NONE of the cars in the new car pack allow engine swaps. What the hell?

Tyler I had to unfriend you because your drivatar was in every race of mine and the thing is ridiculous. No matter what difficulty I set the drivatars to yours is insanely fast and even if I pass it, it will still ride my ass and give me dirty laps. If you know a way to change it let me know.


Just a quick rant on my pros/cons of this game.


Things I dislike:


1. Doesn't show my lap times after I finished a race.
2. Car is super dirty after each race. Maybe if I did like 50 laps it would be that dirty but not after 2.
3. Winnings % reduction based on usage of rewind. I like how this prevents you from just rewinding a lot, but I mainly need rewind to get past AI without taking damage. I am very anal I like to get by all the stupid AI without ANY damage so I use rewind. The way I play is get by the AI as fast and cleanly as possible so I can have a chance at a clean lap or 2 and set a good time.
4. Stupid designs are default instead of factory colors. I hate racing with all these fast and the furious looking cars. I had 3 ugly ass gold NSX drivatars in my last race.
5. All the things you guys mentioned (lack of cars, tracks, etc)


Things I like:


1. It shows leaderboard before I start a race. I love this feature.
2. Looks good.


That said I am enjoying the game for now but I feel I will soon be bored and I only just finished the first set of leagues. Also I set my first top 1000 time today so I was happy about that.

The biggest annoyance with this game for me is that I can't do any pre-race tunes from the race itself. I would have to go into the series, look at the track I'm running, then back out, go to my cars, modify, then tune. Pain in the ass and a waste of time.

There is no way of getting around the Drivatars. There is always one that is insanely quick. Good thing is, you can still place in the top 3 (in most races) and get Gold.

1. When you finish, scroll on over to Race Results. So many people look over this.

2. Yeah it gets dirty quickly, usually if you're up front it doesn't get too bad though.

3. You can damage bumpers and scrape without being penalized. Stop being so anal. Finish the race and collect your earnings. Also, if you're serious about setting times, go into a free race alone or go to Rivals. The only thing that can dirty a lap time in those events are you.

4. In the settings, you can turn Designs off.

I turned designs off, much better now.

The damage thing is just me being OCD I like to be out in front with no visible damage to my car. I have done this in since Forza 1. Now with drivatars and limited rewind I am starting to just get over it and just make my way to the front regardless and get the race done with.

I cannot see how to do this. After I finish a race in career there is no race results options. It showed up for me in free play for some reason but doesn't seem to exist in career.

Edit: confirmed on forums there is no race results for career mode. Lame.

Couple other things.


-I went to play multiplayer when my friend came over and we could not choose all the cars. Instead it has some rental bullshit with only a few cars?!


-If I go into rivals and then back to career it won't let me race and I have to restart the whole game.

God, this game is turning into a piece of shit. Where can you sell cars? If you chose to "remove" a car from your garage, it does just that - removes it. You get no money for it, it's gone. So I'm stuck with cars I don't like??

Lots of nice features in the update such as the garage icon & one-time-only free purchase of DLC cars. Ended up buying 2 packs from previous months just to get the cars knowing I wouldn't have to grind for them.

It also made all the cars exclusive to the VIP/Day-One tuned free one-time-only as well, so was able to finally pick up the Veyron & 787B so far.

There is also a free track add-on to be announced early April. Like everyone on the web, here's hoping it's the long-await Nurburgring.
