The game didn't offer Verde Ithaca as a factory color so I made my own

Some of these pictures were edited in Lightroom just for shits and giggles

You can see the fuses in the turn signal here

I haven't decided what my next car will be. Possibly a Superleggera or a Viper.

Get sideways

Datsun 510 with some rake!

Playing with the macro effects and focus...

She a dirty girl! Drifting for four or five laps really kicks up some rubber.

Is...is that a tri-exhaust setup on that G63 AMG above? Holy shit.

Still waiting on my One to arrive so I can finally play my copy that's sitting on my desk since launch.

"First Forza 5 update adds drag racing, will make cars easier to buy"

The reviews for Forza Motorsport 5 have been just as keen as the few grudges held against it, those gripes chiefly being the paucity of cars and tracks compared to FM4 and the difficulty of purchasing the elite cars. Developer Turn 10 has heard the lamentations, and after making quick, temporary adjustments earlier this month has announced a coming update to address them.

The first is "economy balancing," a tweak we're sure various governments wish they could enact so easily. Said to be "the first wave of adjustments to the Forza 5 economy," it ups the pace of earning credits and lowers the price of the high-zoot metal. The average difficulty setting will mean 60 percent more credits than before, enabling players to more speedily get into a Ferrari 250 GTO that will cost two million credits instead of six million.

Other updates include drag racing in Free Play and Multiplayer modes, with rounds-of-16 possible in one-on-one heats and eight-up racing all at one time over quarter-mile, half-mile, and full-mile strips. The three Tag modes will introduce competition that defines the phrase "rubbin' is racin'," with players defined as "It" who need to either touch another car in order to spread their juju or avoid being touched by another car in order not to catch said juju.

There are new features for force feedback wheels as well. Turn 10 hasn't said when the update will come, but it is "currently in certification and awaiting final release" so it shouldn't be long.

Got the One and FM5 yesterday, played for about 5 hours. I love the One, I like how it integrates everything into one control interface (tv and cable box, that is), and how surprisingly well it does it.

I like FM5 too, even though the brake trigger is on or off and I seem to lock up the brakes too much. But I like the force feedback in the new controller. I just wish there was more content though, especially tracks. I love having Spa and Bathurst though, I love those tracks. Now if only they'd add VIR and Mid-Ohio, maybe even Monticello if they'd let them. I took a few pics yesterday but can't get on the Forza website from work

I can never be too sure with you. And surprisingly, there are people who are less intelligent than you out there, so clarification from the start is always a plus.

Just wait until you get to enjoy the amazing party system once we are all back on.

I've noticed that the the braking makes you apply the brakes more evenly and smoothly, like you would when actually driving, to get the best braking performance. It takes a bit to get used to, especially with the trigger feedback, but once you do you can get some solid braking. The little brake bar next to the speedo/tach is nice too, helps with knowing how close you are to locking up. I also recommend going in and messing with the braking deadzones, as that can help with getting more precise amounts of braking.

I also agree on tracks, I would love some less super famous tracks that everyone knows and has played in every racing game since ever. Willow Springs Raceway, especially the Horse Thief Mile, and since it's so new, The Circuit of the Americas.

Also a side note, I was able to sign in on my friends One yesterday, and the cloud data allowed me to access my entire garage, just like I was using my own Xbox. Really great feature as that made for some fun split screen using my own cars versus his on the same TV.

People are standing on my roof:

Below is my A700 drag car. I can't remember the power numbers but here are the best times I've run with it:

1/4 mile: 9.500 @ 151
1/2 mile: 14.784 @ 183
1 mile: 23.717 @ 215

My issue was the dead zones. I played with them last night and almost have it dialed in where I'd like. The trigger itself just didn't have enough movement before the brakes locked. I like getting on the brakes hard at first and slowly tapering off as I get on the gas. Keeps me smooth through the corners.

Do you mind sharing what setting you selected? I have the same tendency, but due to how sensitive it is really makes you re-adjust compared to FM4.

With most cars, it's not really an issue. However, once you start modding some (like my 500Hp Exige S w/ the ceramic brakes), the brakes feel like they're giving enough stopping power before the trigger vibrates.

Make the decel 0 and the accel 100. I think...may be vise versa.

I think standard they are like 15 and the other 85...

The lower number goes to 0, the higher goes to 100.
