xbox+4 tv's+wireless question...
We currently have 3 TV's connected with a hardwired workgroup switch downstairs in the living room, all of which have the Xbox system link cables.
I want to be able to connect my TV upstairs with the 3 TV's downstairs (to play Halo2 of course), but I have a few questions...
1) Can I just buy a really long ethernet cable and plug it in the the workgroup switch downstairs, or does it have to be a Xbox system link cable? The system link cable looks identical to an ethernet cable, but is it the same thing?
2) If that is not a possibility, am I correct in saying I need to buy a Xbox wireless adapter as well as a wireless access point?
We have a wireless router upstairs, but its wired into one of the desktops upstairs, so I can't use that... If I can just buy a long enough cable to plug in to my Xbox from upstairs to downstairs, I'd just do that.....
Any suggestions?

oh its just crossover? its not hard if u know how to make ur own ethernet cables. or like nova said, get a switch or a cheap $5 hub, those thing usually have a port where u can plug in the straight cat5 and select if u want it straight or crossover.

Wait a minute, if you are using a network hub, you aren't using crossover cables. Crossover cables are for xbox to xbox connections, not through a hub. Your 4th box just needs a regular ethernet cable.
Of course you can also get a pair of cheap wireless bridges and plug one into the hub, and the other into your 4th box to have it wireless. Of course you will probably need to hook them both to a PC first to configure them.
