XBOX 360 HD Drive

I was wondering if anyone had this and what they think of it? At $200 it seems like a pretty good option of being able to watch HD-DVD movies at 1080p

Only some titles will be released on HD-DVD, until either HD-DVD or Blue-Ray wins out... My prediction has changed in light of recent thinking, I say save for a PS3 complete with Blue-Ray.

He's asking about the unit and not the HDDVD/Blu-Ray war..

Right... And I am saying based on the "war" it looks like it would make more sense to put it towards a Blue-ray equipped device.

Now if he is asking about the quality of the player... No idea. How the hell does it connect up to the 360 anyway?

I got it when it came out. Overall, the image quality is outstanding and overall not a bad option for $200 if you have your 360 connected to a nice HDTV. It connects through the USB port in the back. No complaints at all as it is fast and relatively quiet.

I picked one up not too long ago... and for $200, it was a no brainer for me...
