there's a new game for xbox live arcade called boom boom rocket. I played the demo last night, and I thought it was pretty cool. It's like a ddr/guitar hero type game, but you use the buttons on the controller instead of a pad/guitar. So if you don't want to shell out the $$ for the extra accessories, but want to get in on the rhythm games, you may want to try this.

the visuals are pretty cool also




Not sure I'd pay $10 for it considering it only has 10 songs, but i'm giving it some thought

 

I played it, it's tough as all hell on the hard setting, and honestly I never really liked DDR, adn this is basically what it is, except with button presses.

 

yeah i tried for an hour or so last night and finally got through the hard one. it's addictive


and i agree its essentially ddr but using a control. it's for those people who want to ply a ddr type game, but don't want to look like an idiot doing it. like me.

 

Looks like that launch PS2 game about fireworks.
