What old game do you wish they broght back today?
I was discussing this at lunch and thought there were a bunch of old games that I wish were remade with a modern game engine.
One I'd really like to see is the old PC game called Stunts. For those who don't remember it, you would race your cars on a track with loops, jumps, and barrel rolls. You could even build your own tracks and race on them. It was a ton of fun and I remember playing it for hours. If you got bored, you just made a new track...
It would be so great to see it come back with modern graphics and a really accurate physics model. I'd love to see parts of the car fly off when you wreck. It would also be great to steal the "driver eject" feature from FlatOut.
So what games would you like to see a modern interpretation of?

probably be Way of the Exploding Fist.... C64... loved that f'ing game... took so damn long to load though.. but damn was it worth it. Loved the music in it too, I would want to hear the exact original music, playing over a backdrop of updated electronica (breakbeat/trance, etc) - along with updated graphics engine.
Honorable mentions:
California Games
Skate or Die
Mail Order Monsters
Gyruss
Tron
Caveman Ughlympics - can you imagine an updated version of that... would be f'in hilarious.
Hero - I think there may have been a new version made at some point? dunno.
Toy Bizarre
honestly though, can you really f with some of these? you cant beat the originals. I just can't see an updated version of some of these being better... sorting through pretty much every Genesis game on this PSP emulator over the past 2 days has really made that clear to me...

Rock n Roll Racing
I think I'm one of the few people who ever played this game. It was the shit on SNES! Not really a fan of rock and roll but it's tolerable to me nowadays, probably because of this game. You can buy a car, win races, collect bonuses, and blow up other cars to win money, which in turn lets you buy different weapons.
When I was younger my parents would only let me rent most of my video games. I liked this game so much I rented it twice!

Double Dragon
Contra (up, up, down, down, left, right, left, right, B, A, start)
Police Quest
Space Quest
Super Sprint
1942
Super Monaco GP
That's all I can think of right now

I do remember one I played all day long but I dont' remember the name of the game.
You are a farmer. You are growing some sort of squash on the ground. There are snake, thunder, and sometimes it grows cacti, and there are some sort of bouncing melon bouncing up and down from the sky to smash your squash. If the snake bites you, you lose all the squash you collected. If the thunder strikes you, you lose a life.
The goal is to grow and collect 10 squash. After you have 10 of them, you need to drive your squash to the market with your truck. You can speed up but there are mole coming out from the road to bump you. If you drive too fast, your squash in the back will be flying all over the place.
Moby Games has alot of pictures of the old games. http://www.mobygames.com/home
