Congrats @Mizouse
@Yumcha still waiting?
I heard some people have had their shipping "lost" by amazon....
Resellers out in full force....several ppl in my town on CL selling PS5 for $1000+
I couldn't get in on the pre-order so will just maybe wait a few months until you can get it at retail....
I'm just waiting to play the next Gran Turismo on the PS5. (GT 7?)

Still in transit.
Of course, I'm one of the first to snag a PO and of course, I'm the last to get his.

Living on debt is the 'Murica way.
The other problem is even if dropping $1000 is nothing to someone rich enough...do you even get the proper warranty/registration???
Do you need to give Sony receipt for service or I assume you can just log-in to your PSN account and it registers that PS5's specific serial number for warranty and stuff?

Still, I'm rooting for those of you unloading your consoles for a markup because hey, if someone's enough to fork over almost double or whatever, why not????

Meanwhile, my PS5 will arrive when no one wants one and it's valued at $0.05.
Just watch, Miz here would've SOLD his and got ANOTHER already and that second one had arrived already before mine shows up.

When I got service for my PS3, I don’t recall having to show proof of purchase. But that was the PS3. Not sure if anything has changed.

Right. People wouldn’t be flipping those if there wasn’t anyone stupid enough to pay it.

Yeah, it'll be interesting. Like, unless there's this insane need to play the launch titles, I just don't see the point. If you missed out, you missed out...but, more are inbound. It's not like Sony stops making the PS5 after launch.

We live in a world today where if you're an avg American...you're living like gods compared to people of the middle ages and there are probably thousands of options for games/movies/activities at your disposal....and yet ppl feel compelled to get the latest and greatest.
And as much as I hate "scalpers" I think single individuals selling one of their only PS5 to make a few extra bucks isn't bad overall...like @Mizouse or others to make a few extra bucks for the holidays. The people who run bots and buy dozens of systems can kick rocks
Yeah....there are loot of rich ppl out there...and kids and spouses of rich ppl and trust fund babies....etc....

So, after snowstorms, blizzards, dogsleds, and just plain ol' life-hates-Yumcha...my PS5 arrives. Dead last in the heat against @Mizouse and @asianspec ...both mofos who I KNOW ordered theirs AFTER mine.
And of course, in one last insult, I waited at Walmart for about 20+ minutes while they took their merry @$$ time to grab it from the back.
Per my text to those 2 yahoos, I think Walmart was assembling mine by hand.

And no, you may not offer me $34.50 for mine. I'm keeping it.

Crossed the line with that last one. No milk is one of the most depressing things someone can encounter

It's infuriating when you go to grab some milk and some mofo left a tiny bit in the gallon that wouldn't be enough for a mouse.

Can't relate.
Probably gonna get permabanned for this, but...

Console Scalpers Are Reportedly Being Robbed By Fake Buyers
In an unexpected turn of events, it now seems as if certain scalpers are actually being robbed of their next-gen consoles. As reported by The Gamer, police in Toronto, Canada have issued a warning that "numerous reports of robberies" have been received by the department from people "selling game systems online".
I don't advocate violence.
But actions have consequences. That's all.

All you guys ing about my milk and cereal technique... all I can say is I have never suffered through a milkless bowl of cereal.
Also, my cereal stays crunchy, no soggy sugar-porridge for me.
Weird asf I know. Even more weird, I pour my cereal in layers, "refilling" my bowl once or twice so there's even less chance of eating mushy gruel.
Started doing it as a kid and never stopped

This has been a thing since iPhones came out. Reminds me of when a guy pulled up to me while I was driving and told me him and his friend can bang out the dent in my car on the side of the road. I was like and bailed.
