i dunno man, its not stretched, everything is in proportion. i know how my TV looks when its displaying a 4:3 image that is stretched, it looks awkward at the edges, like a fish-eye lense or something, i beleive this game supports 16:9 automatically when you display it in progressive scan.

your not getting a `wide lens` view... your just getting an image proportionately stretched to fill your screen...

but your not seeing any more image data then you would see on a 4:3 frame.

hmm, well i dunno, i havent viewed the game in 4:3 and i have no intention to, lol. it looks fantastic on my tv even if it may be stretched. sometimes games or tv shows look crappy when stretched and obviously distorted but this game looks perfect in the 16:9 format, i wouldnt have ever known it wasnt truely supporting 16:9
