Jonesi what's the deal with the mic issue? I can't talk or hear shit. At first I thought it was because i wasn't verified? Still not working after i verified.

so, are there any GOOD maps in this game? SOCOM 2 had classics, (what was that map that ted and silver loved to camp in??) where are they in this? so far most maps are pretty bland.

First start a normal single player game with headset in.. After the first minute or so you should hear some of your teammates(computer) talking to you.. If you can hear them then you know the PS2 and the mic are functioning properly..
If it isn't working then it's either your mic or PS2, mess around with mic first and try to get it to work..
If it does work try opening these ports on your router (Port Forwarding) but first you need to find out your PS2's IP address.. Log in and go online with Socom, once online go to Attached Devices on your router and find the IP address..
Open up these ports on your router to your assigned PS2 IP address..
3658 UDP= mic
6000-6999 UDP= Headset
10070-10080 TCP= Headset

Jones, he doesnt have a net adapter or headset either. so for him it like $100 ish.
I definately would not recommend anyone spend any more than they have to for this game. All this game is doing is soaking every last dime they can out of PS2 before they launch some real titles for PS3.
There are a hundred military games like this that are better right now between XBOX/PC.
I'm playing only because it seems to be where ya'll sheeples will gather.

My mic is still jacked up, no I'm not that bad.....I've never played any of the maps played last night so I was getting owned. I will get better, by the end of the weekend.

Yeah, I like it, like I LIKED Socom 2. It's fun playing with ya'll. Beyond that though it's a pretty awful game. There's at least a half dozen SOCOM-style games out right now that are better than it. This game is just leeching every last drop it can out of PS2.

This game is pretty sub-par as far as recent titles are concerned. But it's fun playing with everyone.
This should of been the expansion pack that they were promising for SOCOM 2.
I got $5 says Smitty is telling us all were stupid if were still playing SOCOM 3 or whatever when he gets his 360

I will not go off... it is good AND I ONLY play because of you guys... I would not play this game by myself... But you guys make me laugh so HARD and we have such a great time... UNTIL, you start reallly laying into and screaming at someone and they take it the wrong way...
