I know it is an old game, but I just bought thinking it must've been another so-so FPS. But NOOOOO.... it turned out to be a gem stone.

This game is by Rebellion, the studio who brought us Aliens Vs. Predator. It was truly the best war FPS (way better than Call Of Duty or Metal of Honor) I have ever played. Granted, this game is all about sniping, but boy, oh boy, the sniping is so much fun and so much pain and so much addiction. There is so much physics involved (of course you can turn them off or on, such as gravity, wind, breath, etc). Many times, I had to lead my shots through the scope towards running targets, when I pulled the trigger on a perfect shot, the camera would follow the bullet through the opening on wooden crates, gap in between fences, baaaam, right into enemy's head, and took off half of the poor sap's face. Man, I felt like Enemy at Gate, and better.

This game is also on console systems, but I seriously doubt it can be so as much as fun on PC without the mouse and precision aiming.

I've seen in on PS2. My friends thought it was really fun, but I just didn't like it
