Should I get a XBOX360?

I have XBOX, infact I bought it when it first came out. I barely played the thing, and now its collecting dust. However when I bought it, I was in college, low on money, so maybe thats why I don't have many games for it, and haven't unboxed it since I have moved.

I visited my older brother in FL this past weekend and he has the XBOX 360. I was pretty hooked on PGR3, and I'm looking at the game lineup and incoming games, looks very promising. I was blown away at how fun it was. Now that I'm out of college and have a full time job, I have the money for it, and I think I would play it more, esp with HD support out of the box (I have a 32" HD LCDTV) I am seriously considering it. Plus I have $25 bucks off at BB so why not.

Any reason why I should wait or not get the XBOX 360 (besides PS3, which I don't see myself getting)? If I got it, it would be the Premium version.

2nd Question: Should I get it from Circuit City or Best Buy vs. New Egg? If I bought from New Egg I could save on tax.

Yes, you should get it. I've been debating getting one also, pretty much the same train of thought as you. I decided to get one.

If possible, get it at costco. Can't beat their return policy.

If you like the games you've already played and the upcoming ones, I'd say go for it. As you may or may not have seen, some people are experiencing freezing, but as with anything, it's probably not EVERY system. I played Fight Night on a 32" LCD, man, it was like watching boxing on tv.

I am a die hard Sony fan who has never even played the original XBox, but even I was thinking of picking one up. If you can get one, I'd say go for it

what's so special about it. I've heard so much about it, but this is all I got from their website about returns:

Returns or Exchanges

Costco.com has a 100% guarantee on all of our merchandise. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we offer two convenient return methods. Costco.com refunds include shipping and handling fees.

1. You can return the item to the nearest Costco Wholesale location. To find a location,
please click here.

2. If you are unable to return your order to one of our warehouses, please e-mail us at
customer service. Please include your name, order confirmation number, phone number, and
reason for return. You will be contacted regarding your return within 5 to 7 business days.

Please note, as of November 4th, 2002 , the return policy for all desktop and notebook computers are six months from the date of purchase. Six months after purchase, all computer services and technical support will be subject to the applicable remaining manufacturer’s warranty.

Well, basically, if its not working say 1 or 2 yrs down the line, just take it in and they'll exchange it. Obviously they aren't going to publicize that

Its like having a BB service plan without actually buying one.

they're both good, but obviously... one's gonna have the ol' school weaponry, and they other's totally modern... personally, I'd go with Call of Duty first... it was a game that I kept looking forward to coming home to play... where as... Battlefield 2... I haven't finished it yet... I'm stuck on a level... I just can't figure out...

...but IMHO... I liked GRAW the most.... I just started playing it again... from a harder level...
