coo chit......lol.....people get all worked up over this shit with broadband.....we used to run warez back in the day with 14.4 modems.

blacknet has been around for years. Even when the net first started. There is so much more to the internet than google and firefox. I have a friend who is into this shit for the thrill. He has told me so many stories and has showed me so many things that can be done. He has his own custom proggies and shit.

i remember using a 2400 bound modem connecting to AOL...and was new back then.

 

my first modem was 2400...........that rocked!!!!!

 

yeah it was my first one too, came with my very first comptuer Apple Performa 550.... freaking 50mhz and i think only 12MB of RAM....for got how man MB of hard space it had...wasn't over 100MB.

 

Hackers? Not really. People who pirate software/movies/music/etc.? Yes.

 

yea love how they use the word HACKERS and it's in the WIRED i gave up along time ago. I got tired of correcting people who kept saying my interent is broken.

I've been using IRC since 9th grade (first year i had the intarweb on my own computer )

Before my school clamped down on DCC file transfers i was all over IRC for files. It was the only place to find good dreamcast games before BT got big.
