I'm competitive too, but given my relative lack of skill, I'd spend all my time chasing your ghost down and lose my job, my wife, and my kids. I'd be homeless on the street corner stealing electricity and Internet connections so I could try to catch your damn ghost!

I only have time to play late at night & on the weekends, or I'd be in the same homeless boat. Though GT6 is a lot shorter than GT5. I'm over 85% complete.

Lol. I'm in constant time trial competition with my brother and a couple of really close friends. We all play at different times and can never meet online so we just race against each others' ghost lines. My TT times are almost always within the top 3-4k in online rankings and frequently under the 2k mark.

ttribe, I sent you a PSN request.

Are you going to make me turn traction control all way off in order to play in the room?

Who else is using a G27 wheel? I've had it for 3 weeks now and I have to say it is probably the best $250 I've ever spent in my life. I wish I had just spent the extra $100 on it over the DFGT a couple years ago. I'm also starting to backtrack on my original comments about the H-shifter. I've been using it more and I've become quite used to it. It'll never be as fast as the paddle shifters but it's a hell of a lot more fun. I've been home the last few days and every time I slam the clutch pedal to shift gears my 21 month old daughter giggles. It's almost as amusing for her as it is for me.

If you're on the fence at all about getting a Logitech G27 wheel I cannot stress to you enough just how good this thing is! I know a lot of people really rave about the Thrustmaster T500RS. I'm sure it's a great product but it's a lot more expensive, supposedly has some reliability issues and their customer service is iffy at best from what I've heard.

Have you guys tried the new seasonal events yet? I laid down some pretty massive times on the G37 and Rocket races. Mid 200's online ranking on the G37 one and mid 400's on the Rocket event, (it's still pretty early though). I haven't done the Evo one yet because I honestly hate the rally events. I'll do it eventually, just not looking forward to it.

Got gold in the Evo snow event tonight and that's probably all I'm gonna do on that one. I'll probably still grind away at the other two events and try to climb back up the leader boards a bit.

Hopefully we get some new DLC pretty quick here. I'd like to see the Alfa Romeo 4C, Mclaren P1 and LaFerrari make it into the game, along with some other new cars. I also wouldn't mind B-Spec return.

I don't mind anything that adds more content...other than maybe drifting. GT6 is definitely lacking a bit in overall content, especially since they removed the endurance races. That's why I haven't exactly been chomping at the bit to blast through the whole game.

True, I just got bored with the B-Spec in GT5. I do whish there was more A-Spec content though. Getting 2-3 seasonal races every few weeks just doesn't cut it.

24 minutes of Spa, Le Mans & Nurburgring felt cheap to me. I never did the 24hr races in GT4 or 5, but would've eventually gotten to them.

A couple pointers for you, if you are open to suggestions...First off set your suspension up with the compression and extension at 1. You can mess around with the spring rates to what suits your driving style. I think I did 9ish in the front and 8ish in the rear. Secondly, there are only 2 places on that entire track that you need to use the brakes. Everything else is all throttle control and turning in early. You want to stay close to the inside on most of the corners. Once the car starts drifting to the outside in the corners you will lose tons of speed trying to reel it back in.

Thanks. I appreciate that.

My biggest problem, in the entire game for that matter, is probably the fact that I use a standard PS3 controller. I've remapped the throttle and brakes to R2 and L2, respectively, but I don't have near the breadth of control available to the wheel users. Oh well, it's just for fun anyway.

Get a wheel. Seriously, even if it's just a Driving Force GT, it's well worth the investment. It is a completely different game when you use a wheel.

Anybody still playing? Lol. No posts in here for like 5 days. Kaz promised a big update by the end of February that would bring a new track. I'm keeping my fingers crossed but it looks like they may not make that deadline. GT updates are usually released on Tuesday and it is now Wednesday in most parts of the world. Next Tuesday will be March so...

Sounds like me. All I really have left are the S-License events.
Wish the game had a bit more content, and that some of the high level races weren't so restrictive on what cars you can use (PP rating).

I'm torn on whether or not to buy the wheel or just wait to see if there is any truth behind GT7 for the ps4.

What I do know is it's been next to impossible for me to race in most of the iA races with the controller

I got through the iA races with the controller, but the S races are turning out to be a bit more of a challenge.

GT7 will be coming to PS4, it's just a matter of when. It took 4 years after the release of the PS3 before we got a full version of Gran Turismo. I'm not holding my breath personally.
