True, I preferred part 1 over 2 since 2 had so many more puzzles. I felt that in 1, I was able to kill more.

Yes, 1 was definitely better than 2. I'm gonna have to get a PS3

Oh, and to all who haven't played any of the games yet, what are you waiting for? They are still great games, even with today's games out there.

Shit, I'm gonna have to get a PS3 now.

GoW2 left me with the case of blue balls, I haven't experienced a game where they gave an obvious cut-off at the end to make way for the next game.

I can't wait to see the new weapons you can get. they showed a screenshot in GI with him holding two lion-heads as his weapon, wonder what they can do.

this game will make me go out and buy a PS3.

God of War is :ghey:

Button mashing up the ass, with a hint of semi-interesting puzzles. Never got into it.

I've been looking at footage on Gametrailers.com.
Is this like.... the most violent game ever? I mean, slow motion pulling some guy's head off? good lord.

Some of the other stuff is just plain epic, though.

Yeah I ordered GoW Collection, and I'm gonna pick up God of War 3 when it comes out After seeing reviews, I'm not really too worried about skipping Final Fantasy 13 for this.

Got it for Christmas, actually. With Forza and COD, plus not playing any real violent games around the kids, I just didn't think about it.

Perhaps this weekend.

I got my fill of Hack n Slash gaming from Bayonetta.

And Mystikk is right... I'm going to slowly cruise on the FFXIII train until Super Street FIghter IV comes out. I may have to sell the X Arcade and build myself a new stick...

I was at GameStop yesterday and the dudes there said GOWIII was insane. I hear the first scene where he tackles Olympus (I think) is out of control. I'm looking forward to it since I came from Xbox and never played any of the previous titles.

I turned in Bioshock 2 for Heavy Rain. Wanted to take a break from the FPS for a little while

I've been on a pretty good run though. Arkham Asylum, NFS Shift, Uncharted 2, Bioshock 2. Some decent games out there.

Damn, I decided to wait and pick up Gow3 after I finish the first two. The anticipation is kinda killing me. Weird thing I noticed is that they most likely didn't redo the FMV scenes in GoW Collection. They upped the resolution and got rid of the jaggies, but not in the FMV scenes. They just look a little grainy. Weird.

I don't need to play the first 2 titles before GOW3 do I? I didn't play Uncharted 1 or Bioshock 1 and still loved the sequels. To tell you the truth, I didn't even pay attention to the storyline in BS2 that much. Something about Eleanor, Adam, Big and Little Sisters, and being underwater

take your time and play the 1&2 otherwise you won't understand the storyline in part 3. All three games is one continuos storyline.

GOW III is the best game for the PS3 now, probably a good reason to get the PS3 if you don't have one. The boss fights are the most epic I ever played. Couldn't stop playing and I started playing in HARD and get my ass handed down, but I never give up and slowly progresses. I like to take it slow because there are plenty of treasures to be found. For those who are new to the series, I will definitely play GOW 1 and 2 and even the PSP (Chains of Olympus) as well. I am a big GOW fan and this has been added to my collection. On a side note, this is a mature game so make sure kids are not around. A lot of violence and a few sex scenes. I have a 3 yr old and I would not play this in front of her.

Spliting time between GOW3 and Bad Company 2 right now. Both are great games.
