treyarch is known for zombies. there was no way they would make BOps 2 without zombies. They even upgraded it to make it a possible 4v4 zombie match.

that care package version is likely to be around 150-200 bucks...shit is cray!

I can't decide PC vs Xbox.... Which version I should get.... I have all of the previous ones on Xbox.... But I've been playing my PC lately a lot more, since EVGA 680 rips total ass.

I preordered this months ago then moved 2 months ago and then wondered whats the status of my order. It still shows my old address! Tried calling them but no luck! grrrr....still hoping the busy signal stops!

 

Picked up my copy for Xbox 360 at midnight and played until 4am

The game is awesome! Zombies is the shit! The game looks more colorful to me for some reason. At first it looked a little cartoonish like but after some time I got used to it.

The guns are awesome, maps are very detailed and plenty of places to run and hide. Haven't played the campaign yet.

I just can't figure out how to make it where killstreaks don't reset after death, instead just accumulate. I'm having a hard time getting 6 or 7 kills in a row :/ I suck at it

 

Only reason I got it for Xbox before was because my friends played on Xbox and I had a crappy computer. Now that I have a decent rig and my friends may or may not get BO2 on PC, I'm definitely getting it on PC.

I did some googling, they confirmed dedicated servers at first but later on they said they weren't going to have them... meh

on PC you get much better graphics (especially with your card), can customize settings like FOV, and you can lean

 

I am in the same boat.... I upgraded my video card somewhat recently and am now in a position to play some games at 1920x1200.

btw after the update I bought MW2 for PC.. and oh my gosh... the graphics... just amazing.

BTW it seems cheating was rampant in MW3 PC and still is... I'd wait and see how they tackle the hacks first. They say the team that developed BO2 started from the ground up but you never know

Well I bought it for xbox, played a few hours yesterday until my gf began nagging me.. #@#@!!!!l Mostly got it for the zombies so a few people can play in front of the tv.

I figure I'll play the xbox. After may try it in 3D mode, and I will of course play it on PC which I'm sure will leave me very satisfied.

The graphics on the xbox are shiiieet. I've just played Dishonored on PC, so I'm biased

 

I thought the graphics were pretty decent actually. Yes I know they are not to the level of PC but for a console on its way out I thought they were pretty good. I really enjoyed the game play and already beat it once through. Will go back later to beat all the actual unlockables in each level.

Online play is good as well and I got pretty far with it yesterday. I wish you could just spend your unlock tokens on what you want though and not have to wait for things to become available to be unlocked.

There is one map that really annoys me though. It has a central room with 3 entrances and bunch of tables in it with no windows. I have had people camp in groups in it numerous times already in just the first day of it being out.

 

Got my free copy for the PS3 today...I'll play it after the kids go to bed.

 

Yesterday I got fed up with this mission. With a controller this seems like an impossible feat.

I had some gift cards so I went ahead and picked it up. Couple of buddies and I used to play split screen multi player once a week at my place but it got a bit stale. We're going to resurrect that in the coming weeks, only with less beer. I only have one working bathroom.

 

I think when I eventually get this game, it'll be on 360. I don't have a PS3 and the PC reviews at a glance make it seem not worth getting for PC.

Reviews are all over the place, I was just going off of the metacritic ratings... which aren't always to be trusted, but still.

Hard to find unbiased reviews. For all iterations of COD, the PC reviews are generally lower than the console versions. I'm biased, myself. Last COD game I got was MW2, I pretty much shit on everyone but realized how flawed the game was.

Basically the game is optimized for console, some people see framerate issues even on powerful rigs on PC.

 

i tried it, single player is awesome and has different endings

multiplayer is somehwat better, but call of duty, is still call of duty.

graphics are still shit
sucks it doesn't have destruction

and don't forget, if you upgrade your video card you will have to upgrade your cpu, otherwise you will be bottlenecking your video card

 

Yeah I did not like this mission. With a mouse and keyboard this would be so easy I think. I did finally end up beating it but just barely. You have to learn the controller shortcuts that keep you from going back to the map.

 

^ this is the only mission I failed... My patience was low on this.

That's pretty impressive. I haven't bothered with one yet. Only level 22. Missed out on double XP weekend because I was too busy with the bathroom renovation.

Has anyone tried out the target finder sights? I've got one on the MK48 LMG and its awesome! I've gotten more long shot medals than I ever did with a rifle and variable zoom scope on the original Black Ops.

Has anyone been having problems with the new patch? When I got into online play all my customs are there. But when I actually go into a game, they're replaced by the default customs. Its also prompting me to download the Elite app, but I already have. I went into the close quarters moshpit thing they have set up and they show up there, but still don't under Core/Team Deathmatch.
