Whats up guys,

One of my friend's dad recently picked up a few ps2 games from the phillipenes. When he puts it in the ps2, it says something along the lines of "Please insert format disc"... anyway, is it okay to go with the dms 4 as his modchip choice? Is there one out there just as good that does not need soldering?
