I had some saved up gift cards to Walmart and BB so I decided to pick one up. Again, i'm supposed to go to Amsterdam for 3 weeks on July 5th and i'm tired of twiddling my thumbs on the plan. Anyways, the $199.00 bundle came with a red PSP slim with Kratos logo, God of War: Chains of Olympus, SuperBad UMD, and a free download of Syphon Filter: Combat Op's.

To prepare for the trip, I also bought an accessory kit, spare batter, 2GB mem card, and the games Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII, Disgael: Afternoon of Darkness, Wipeout Pulse, and Patapon.

I'm not sure if I can get into the FPS on this thing. The screen is just too small.

Any other games that can be recommended?

I liked Miami Vice and Fight Night Round 3.

 

LocoRoco, Puzzle Fighter, Virtua Tennis, Metal Slug Anthology...

 

Metal Gear Acid 1 & 2, Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, Lumines 1 & 2 were all favorites for me.

 

Patapon is awesome, make sure you play with headphones though. Right now its allo about Hot Shots Golf 2. Online play

Jeanne D'Arc is good also if you like strategy games. The only FPS that is pretty good and plays well is Medal of Honor Heros 2.

 

i would just get it modded to play all the emulators out there, to me thats the only reason to have a PSP...the SNES, Genesis, NES, Sega Master System, and arcade game emulation. There is enough there to keep you busy for a flight to the fucking moon, let alone europe!!!

 

i should really sell my psp, i dont use it at all. then again i dont know if i would get much since its a launch date psp.
