PC: Need For Speed Most Wanted on a 720p TV

It is a 3 yrs old version.

I had installed it for my children on our 42" TV 720p via my laptop (C2D, 2GHzz, 250GB, optional 512Mo video card)... most of the graphics are working except the menus which are like bits (can't read anything). I wonder if I would need a specific driver/coder (I have already K-Lite Codec Pack) or how to fix this.

I would definately make sure you have the latest driver for your video card and a up to date version of direct x (probably 9)

for the record, it was 'allow DXT compression', a setting to change in the ATI menu.
