if only there was a way to channel all the potential mass-murderers and killers and such into taking their frustrations and anger out on a game like this rather than doing it in real life............

video game killing can relive stress! but I think those that would kill for real without it being self defense or something would not actually get relief from something like a game unfortunately

You think mass murderers/serial killers kill because they are "frustrated" or "angry"...?

Psychopaths (lesser so than sociopaths) murder for "fun"...it's calculated, methodical...with little regard to the victim's life. Anger and frustration has zero to do with it.

And sociopaths...those who often commit crimes/murder because of "rage" issues...well, not exactly sure giving them a violent game like this would alleviate their issues since they already have challenges telling right and wrong.

There's 2 ways to look at this game...Srika's is one...

The other is, this game will encourage people to go out on a shooting spree because the game's objective is to do so, therefore rewarding you for it.

It's mindless "fun" but it's also harmful fun.

I know the game is getting a lot of heat because of these arguments, where do we draw the line? How much violence is too much violence? Sure GTA has plenty of opportunities to kill people in a sidewalk massacre, but it doesn't reward you for it, nor is it the game's main objective.

Charalanahzard did a pretty good video on it...

Honestly, I see it as doing more harm than good. If you want a game to relieve stress, it needs to be fun and distracting, not channel your stress and anger into killing people mindlessly.

Shouldn't have to be said, but that's my
