Painting CD-ROM bezels to match case?
Painting CD-ROM bezels to match case?
I am going to be getting a new case for one of my PC's. The one I want is silver, but my CD Rom drives that I am using in that computer now are black. Is there any danger in painting the bezels to get a close match to the new case? I know I'd probably have to let the paint dry first before using the PC again. But is there any special kind of paint I should use? I was considering using model car paint.
Here's the new case im considering:

^ Wow, I didn't even go through that much trouble. I just bought black plastic paint from HD, took the bezel off of the drive, put it on the ground and sprayed it. Took 2 coats. Let it dry, snapped the bezel back on, and that was that. I let the piece dry overnight, but other then that the rest of the process took me 5 minutes. I painted the faceplate of the 3.5" floppy drive the same way...
