Original Xbox: how to quit apps/games fromt he controller

.. the only way I found was with the main switch and it ejects the DVD. I play from the 160Gb HD. There seems to be no way... am I mistaken?

Tried. Didn't work. How can you push the left trigger + right trigger at the same time?
