Well i am going to take the plunge so how do I go about finding out how many people still play certain games? I dont want to buy a game and theres only 3 people on a day you catch my drift? So are there server information sites?

 

WoW is the only one I still play. I think the expansion will be out at the end of the year and that will add a lot of life. Last I heard, the game still has over 5 million paid subscribers.

 

WoW is still the biggest, I played it for awhile but got bored. Guild Wars (recently released expansion) and City of Heroes/Villains still seem to draw crowds too. I don't know how people play these games as much as they do though, they start to feel a bit too much like work after a bit.

 

Just get Battlefield 2. All these magical orc warrior role playing games blow.

Yeah I downloaded the demo and you are right Orc's and Paladins just aren't my thing. I was wondering if BF2 was still on the scene or if people still played it a lot. Only problem is I was playing it like I would play GR2 and after reading the thread about congress and BF2 I see it is a lot less realistic

Naw got rid of it because it was over heating I am waiting till halo 3 comes out then I will get it again. I am sure there were ways of preventing this but I would rather know I can leave my console on or on its side and not worry about over heating. And yes I am sure someone will chime in about how I should have done this or that but too much heat to me equals short life span so no thanks.

 

How Much am Looking at spending to make my games look like this? Or close. You think 200 will do it? I have a NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GS right now, and a Pentium D 805.

There are some racing sim titles that have pretty decent communities but it's mostly in Europe and Australia. On this side of the pond it's pretty much :crickets:

Once you get past the masculinity challenging cuteness of the characters and the backdrops it becomes one of the most addicting games possible for a few months.

My roommate's primary life has been on Final Fantasy 11 for the last 3 years, I played for about 2 months, I couldn't take it.

Question for the BF2 nuts, my PC can't run BF2 decently, I don't want to buy a new PC, can I get away with buying a 360? Or are the 360 and PC versions of BF2 night and day?

They're not at all similar. The 360 version is a fine game, but it's nothing at all like the PC version.

Yea cross realm. But PvP servers are better since you feel like your in a real war and adds more depth.
