Actually I got those N64 emulators running back in late 1998 or early '99 Granted they didnt work too well due to the crappy graphics cards back then. By 2000 the emulators worked well enough.

And yes there are upgraded BMPs you can download to improve the graphic quality plus there is anti-aliasing

On my machine I run it at 1280 x 1024 and it looks very nice..

really? i remember trying to run emulators for N64 back in 2002 and they wouldnt work too well

There were some horrible emulators back then (still are)

yeah tehre were some bad emulators, and some good ones too. with these nice graphics card sin computers these days you can get em to look FAR better than they did on the original console. I was playing mario64 5 years ago on my computer

damn, ive been emulating the psx and n64 along with tons of other consoles for a while. My friends love it when i load up some old school street fighter, marvel vs capcom, or killer instinct on mame and we all go nuts.
