New Blizzard Game
To be announced Saturday at the World Wide Invitational in Paris. There are lots of rumors floating around that its either the release date for the 2nd WoW expansion or Diablo 3.
There is a new splashscreen up at www.blizzard.com . If you look at the screen you may see 2 runes. Those runes that are depicted resemble the Hel Rune and the Shael rune from Diablo.
I personally hope that it is for a Diablo 3 game. I would love for that series to come back. A lot of people know that they have been secretly working on another title along with SC2 and WoTK. But there has also been talks of Warcraft 4. I am keeping my fingers crossed for a D3 game.

It sounds to me like it will be D3.

With this week's speculation over the Blizzard teasers, more and more reports in the media, and numerous tips coming direct us at IncGamers from reliable inside industry sources in the past 24 hours, we now have confirmation from inside sources to say that Diablo 3 WILL be announced on Saturday at WWI Paris 2008.
So if is announced on Saturday, that means that they will have some cinematics..

Plus they have already said (in my first couple postings) that they are announcing a NEW game. Wotk is not new, neither is Starcraft...

I don't agree with that at all.
If Blizz made Diablo 3, even at a half ass attempt with less than a year dev, they would sell over 2 million copies in a week- at least. It is the definition of a cash cow and I refuse to understand how they can't/don't see it.

Hell. D2 just had a new patch 1.12 within the passed 2 weeks. There are still thousands upon thousands of people that still play D2. I still play it every now and again. Lost all of my main characters, but it is still fun to play every once in awhile.
They better put in a cow mini game...

^^ Doh... I had like 3 enigmas on my account. 2 HoTO, the bul kathos set including 2 of the rings. A couple SoJ's. The tal set, the druid set... The list goes on... Man, that was fun.. Till they killed my characters.
As long as its not as ever-consuming as WoW has become, I think I can handle it..

Even if they do announce D3. I can only imagine how long we are going to have to wait till they release it. I mean, they announced SC2 how long ago, almost a year. We are still waiting on a release date.
