Okay, I'm probably alone on this as most of you are either immersed in Halo 2 or GTA: San Andreas...none of which I've played before (sequels included) or seem interested to try...But, I think my interests in the gaming genre is probably a tad different than most of the crowd here!

i feel ya bro, im waiting for this one also. i actually broke out the ps1 mgs the other nite, just for shits & giggles. lookin good though.

 

Yeah this game looks good. Only thing I don't like MGS is it takes too much damn time and patience. So slow.

This is a christmas vacation type game

 

Definitely not something you can finish in one sitting anyhow...
Here's hoping the story is better than Part 2...The character Raiden was such a disappointment.

 

Raiden, while disappointing, was understandable. It was showing you Snake from a different perspective...........much like how we would view him if we were put into the position of Raiden. We still got to see Snake as the ultimate badass, we just didn't make him do it.

I, too, am waiting for MGS3, but I'm still wary about the outdoor environment and how it translates to the stealth aspect. I played the demo, and it was a little spotty in some areas.

 

Good point. However, I just found him annoying...kinda in an Anakin-annoying sort of way.

Anyhow, other good news: Metal Gear Solid 4 is in the works! Woo!
