So anybody else here playing it? I finished assassin's creed so I decided to pick it up and I'm amazed by the depth of the storyline, conversation options and the diversity of gameplay. I've easily spent 3/4 of my time doing the peripheral missions to build up stats and open up the extra conversation options/actions and its been immensely satisfying. Combat in the game is pretty good too, but its pretty much secondary to the story, which I don't think I've ever experienced before.

it also sounds like you would enjoy Jade Empire they have a special edition for the pc with extra features and its only 30. if you like a story driven game with a GOOD story then once your done with this you may want to look into it.

 

Yeah, I liked that game...it was another BioWare product, wasn't it? Hopefully Mass Effect keeps up over the life of the game. I'm not sure how many hours it will take to finish though, I might be at it for months.

What a damn shame. Looks like another game from a great publisher (BioWare) that I won't be buying.
