Mac Bootcamp issues
So... one day while I switched to XP via bootcamp.. my keyboard stops working. I check the drivers and sure enough one of the drivers are corrupted.
So after some searching... I downloaded a button-remapper. I forgot what the program was called. All was good.
Then.. two days later... my trackpad and keyboard no longer work in XP. Once I load up XP... I can't do anything. For some reason NO usb keyboard/mouse will work unless the trackpad or keyboard itself is working.
Any issues on what I can do to try to remedy this issue?
Oh.. and I do not have the original leopard OS cd or XP CD [in fact, after upgrading to sp2--my cd key became invalid when it actually is a valid key].

Find a leopard install dvd which I'm sure you can download off of torrents and try plugging in another usb mouse and keyboard. then try uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers. actually I wouldn't be surprised if you could find just the XP mac drivers online and download that exe and run it.

Since nothing is working on XP [keyboard/mouse] than running an EXE won't be possible.
I found 'BootCamp Assistant" in my Utilities folder. I might try to repartition the drive.
I lol'd.
First of all, which mac computer do you have? The unibodies have pretty buggy drivers, I would just reinstall from the boot camp driver dvd or reinstall windows. Or better yet, use VirtualBox http://www.virtualbox.org/

If you have leopard installed, you can access your windows partition from leopard (read-only of course) to copy your data.

I don't like the new unibodies much.. don't like the color or the one button trackpad.
The thing is I don't have a windows CD or mac CD anymore... so I'm in the process of torrenting them.
lol no worries.. I have an external HD-------which I just realized I left in another city. =[
