laptop prob

this looked like the best place to post this but i got a laptop prob the battery drains when it is not on it is a old laptop but the battery is only a year old at the most. and cheap ideas?

a laptop battery will drain even while the laptop is not on. and depending on the battery, it's life may deteriorate quickly, even in a year.

you may have to buy a new battery.
