I'm such a dork.
I just got a water cooling system for my computer for 180 tax and shipping included at newegg.
Pump + water block

The jungle of cables in my case

My case is too small to mount the radiator inside my case so i had to route it to the outside of my case
so because of this ima get a bigger case heheh
anyways before on my athlon XP 2400+ temps were at ~62C after installation im at 48C w/ the radiator fan set to max, and 52C w/ it set to min... i feel its worth it, but i bet id get colder numbers if the damn radiator could get better airflow
and yes i know my computer is dusty

I love NewEgg for computer stuff. Is that one of those really cheap cases they sell? You probably would have achieved better thermal bang for the buck just getting a well-designed case - even 48C is pretty damn high.
My 3.2GHz P4 doesn't ever see 48C (it'll get to about 45C under max load) with my Lian Li case (at least since I blew all the dust out of it!), and it's sharing the case with 4 hard drives in a RAID 0+1 array, a GF5700 card, 2GB RAM, three optical drives, and a SB Audigy 2 GS.

P.S. I think long term you're asking for trouble running water through your computer, especially in plastic tubing.

i have the older AMD CPUs which run WAY hot, like normal temps ive been hearing from people is around 60C, and its a kit you buy from thermaltake that you add to any existing case. and yea it probably wont last very long int he long run but i dont plan on having this computer that much longer..
