I love toothpaste

So after a year in the desert, my BF2 CD took a real bad beating. It was scratched to hell and my computer just would not read it anymore. I was about to jump and buy an entirely new DVD set.

But I decided to smudge the entire CD in toothpaste like I read on the 'net... and viola! My CD works flawlessly.

Anyone down for a game?

Never heard of that before.... I would imagine the CD getting even more ruined. I guess. What brand did you use? There are some brands out there that have grainy feeling pebble-like things in the paste.

Just normal ol' crest. None of that grainy stuff. I would believe that the grainy stuff would make it worst like you said.

But I noticed visibility a lot less scratches on the CD. And the 2 big ones I created are barely visible.
