All these games .. I have not finished. I've played them up to the point where I'm at the last dungeon or last boss, but for some reason, I shelf them at that point. Why do I do this? I don't know. I fucking enjoy every single one of these games too, which makes it weirder to me whenever I ask myself why don't I finish them.

Some of these, the older games, I've already finished once when I was younger. I just decided on another playthrough around this time.

This could probably go to the "weird habit" thread in Ramblings too. Anyone else have this problem?

Yep, I've done it all the time before. I had to restart Final Fantasy 7 and 8 several times. No joke, I get to the impact crater on FF7, play through it for about 15 minutes, then turn it off and pick up Final Fantasy 8. Play that until I get to Ultimecia's Castle or the part where you fight Adel (which leads to Ultimecia's Castle) then I pick up Chrono Cross. I get to Chronopolis right before the fight with Fate. Turn that off and pick up Final Fantasy 7 again. Realize I don't remember a whole lot of what happened so I start all over again. Repeat.

Luckily I got myself together not too long ago and finally finished all my Final Fantasy games (....except 5) and Chrono games.

For me, I think it was just kind of overwhelming having to face the final boss. Like you know you'll have to level up quite a bit, and I personally REALLY didn't want to do that again, so late in the game.

Bought FFVII. haven't played it.
Bought Kingdom Hearts. Haven't played it.
Bought the latest FF and only played a few hours.

Although I did play and finish FFX. that only cause it was my first FF game.

Probably won't get to them because I don't have a ps2 anymore. And my pos 60gb PS3 that did play ps2 games crapped out.. :thumbsdow

Oh, and what's worse is if you're like me and you play Xenogears.....

~60 hours into the game, then I put it down for a few months. Pick it back up and I can't remember wtf is going on story-wise.
