Bought Enter the Matrix...cannot get the proper driver to install on my piece of crap computer(Compaq 1200 running windows ME...with all the patches you can find) so I can get full scren mode...someone please help me...my son is gonna kill me...I bought the game for him and now I cannot get it to work for 1,2,3, 4 day now...this really sucks and I'm sure it is simple...I just don't understand it!!!!!!!!!!!!HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


And I know...I should just trash this piece of S$#T and get another....I will...soon, but for now.....

 

you have to be more specific. Which driver are you trying to install. Is it the video card driver?
And seriously, it is timwe for a new computer. You may be having problems with the direct X9 driver. Direct X 9 is mainly writted for XP.

 

This is a bad combo.

Strike 1: Old hardware on a relatively new game
Strike 2: Windows ME is a turd. Worst OS ever.
Strike 3: Enter The Matrix is horribly buggy, especially on the PC.

Are you sure you have a decent 3d card in there?

 

I'll have to check my card...and I know I NEED a better computer....

Any suggestions for a good, OLDER game that is compatible with my setup...

I was trying to intall ATI Radeon 8500 and/or nvaida 256 drivers.

Which 3D card is a good one?
