Ok guys I decided to buy a Wii right after xmas and so far I haven't been able to find one. Every store I go to or call never have them instock but some times they say they had them in earlier in the day. I refuse to pay the high prices on ebay

Anyone have any tips on how to find a Wii?

i have no idea how many times ive walked into like walmart bestbuy etc and could have picked up a Wii if i wanted to.

Goto BestBuy, I got mine a week before Christmas; call the local best buy, ask when the next shipment will be in and how many they will have.. they should be able to tell you

i had two Wii's last year in december...found one at a GameStop (thanks to itrackr.com) and already had another one shipping to me from Best Buy (i was able to get an order in within the 5 minutes they showed them in stock on their site)...when the one arrived from Best Buy, i returned it the same day after not being able to sell it anywhere for a pretty low price...

i've even seen a few in stores around here in Tulsa and have heard big cities like Orlando and such have no shortage at all, of course...

FYI: i was also told that major retailers (target, best buy, walmart, etc.) get shipments every sunday and thursday night, so a wii could be on one of those...

Ive called Best Buy, Circuit City, Game Stop, Walmart, Target...
They all tell me the same thing... "We don't know if or when we will get them, they just show up"

I was told that walmart gets shipments in everyday but they don't know or won't tell me if there is a Wii coming in

 

Did you try Craigslist? My brother just bought one. $350, sealed box with receipt, extra controllers and 2 games.

nice grab. If you're getting a wiimote you minus whale get wiiplay since it comes with one and you basically get a $10 game out of it.

 

Just pay attention to the Sunday papers, most people get there's on Saturday. When you see them in the CC or Toys r Us ads. Most likely they will have for sale Sunday morning. This past weekend CC had in their ad. If in the ad get to the store before they open Sunday morning, this is how we got one for my son before Christmas.

Looks like you got yours already, but for others - a friend was looking for one for weeks. He finally found out that BB get's their shipments in Friday for Saturday stock. We went in first thing this past Saturday and picked one up

. Sorry, but that was pretty funny. Some phrases can be tough to make out, but it's "might as well."
