Halo1 and Halo2, on the XBOX at least... are very very similar. So i'm sure most people are carry-over in their experience.

I always played Halo1 on the PC... and unfortunately... its nothing like on the XBOX. To be honest, I still prefer Halo1 PC over Halo2 XBOX. BUT... I greatly enjoy how easy XBOX Live makes it for us all to communicate. It really is first rate... and eons beyond PS2. Once I finish GTA, its unlikely I will ever use my PS2 again. edit: I will probably use my PS2 to play a lil MGS3 when it comes out

im going to pick one up tonight...i bought the damn headset last night and i get home and there isnt the thing to plug in the back of the controller...says thats sold separately..wish the guy wouldve told me..so, ill pick that up tonight and im sure ill be on tonight at least early as well. if i had the communicator it wouldnt have been close... im looking forward to winning some some clan matches tonight.. 8 vs 8 would be awesome.

 

Make your gamebattle name IDENTICAL to your player name. People in other clans could check the roster, see that SMITDAWG ( :gheylaugh: ) isn't on the game battles roster and give you the boot.

your gamebattle LOGIN is seperate from your tag name.

when I add you to the clan "I" specify what your IN-GAME name is. it doesnt matter what your login is.



regardless, im almost thinking gamebattles is useless for Halo. the in-game matchmaking and post-game stats may even be superior.

i mean if we get good, then maybe GB be useful for working our way up the ladder. otherwise tho... its pointless.


still.. i can see it being useful for GR2... which is probably much more tactical of a game.
