Anyone get this game? or still play the original?

I"ve been playing the original lately and am considering getting factions b/c I started enjoying the first one so much. I just love the fact that you don't have to pay for access to their servers.

 

I have the original.. i dont play it anymore.. I got bored

With work, the great outdoors, Oblivion and WoW on my plate.. i dont get much time for much else.

 

I got insanly bored with the first one....

It lacked any kind of story line, or one I was just too incompetant to follow. Which very well could be. I played the game long enough to get my char. up to a whopping level 14.
Every level, every missions was the same exact damn thing. Some of those missions were unberably long. To the point where I would just say fuck it and close it out. (thanks to the handy, perfectly placed "X" box.)

Sorry for the rant, that game was just a huge dissappointment to me. As I am still a very happy Diablo 2 player... I think the only thing about GW is the /dance command.... I always loved watching the necromancer dance/headbang...

 

I still try to play the first one every now and then. However i cant seem to beat it bc I can never find a party for the last mission I have grown rather bord of it and I usually only play with my brother online and he said he's not getting Factions....so i dont think i will either.

 

Does anyone on here still play this?

 

I play factions and the original. It has gotten rather boring and I don't think I'll be getting the third expansion "Nightfall". I have 2 characters that are maxed out (Warrior/Monk and Necro/Elemental). Maybe I'll sell them or something
