GT4: Settings Thread

ok well, after some deliberation and wondering what the best way to share settings would be, I just decided to take some screenshots. I don't know if this is the best way, all I know is it beats typing all of it out.

I think I have most of the important stuff here. The car has full mods, and wing. At first I thought wing was just an aesthetic mod and avoided it, then I found out if you add the wing you can adjust both rear AND front downforce... not sure how that affects the front, but whatever. Honestly, this Supra feels damn good. This is the setup I used to run 5:57 @ the Ring.

'97 Toyota Supra RZ, full mods.

ASM: 9, 9
TCS: 7

Excellent idea.

I always wonder what settings others use and what is optimal. Since I'm not much of a mechanic in real life, I have no idea how the cars will respond to changed settings, and testing out all the possible combos can get tiresome after awhile.

I had the same problem in GT3. I would be racing with phenomenal cars (Raybrig NSX for example) and still feel like I wasn't getting the most out of it. This should help.

I will be posting more setups as time becomes available... personally I feel it's more important and useful for street cars since you can pretty much take any LM or other race car and run a pretty good time with it - but I will post some race car setups as well at some point.

Not really, just want to get an idea of what production cars to buy and how to tune them. Looking forward to the Z06.

Actually, I have a couple. Got anything for a mid 90s NSX or a '98 Lotus Esprit SE?

on pretty much all my cars i have long gears for better top speed, lowered with high spring rates, default traction and stabilization settings, and my nitrous settings on all cars is 50 so basically they are rockets when i hit the button

I've only messed with the settings on my Skyline. I have it set up where it drives sort of like it's RWD. The most dramatic effect I've seen is the ASM to be honest which doesn't require any mods. When I knock out some more %age I'll mess with other rides. I want the F1's first.

Best Accord Euro-R settings when turbo'd...

Suspension:
Spring rate (front and rear): 13.5
Ride Height (front and rear): 99
Shock (bound) (front and rear): 4
Shock (rebound) (front and rear) 8
Camber angle: (front): 4 (rear): 3.5
Toe Angle (front and rear): 0
Stablizers (front and rear): 4

Limited Slip Differential settings:
Intial Torque: 12
Limited-slip Acceleration: 42
Limited-slip Deceleration: 30

Brake Controller:
Front and rear: 16

Driving aids:

ASM system (oversteer): 2
ASM system (understeer): 3
TCS Controller: 4

I have yet to work on the tranny... but I use the full customized tranny, stage 3 turbo, triple plate clutch, racing flywheel, racing brakes, racing tires medium/soft, racing chip, and racing exhaust.

With these settings the 370HP Accord Euro-R clocks close to my fully tuned 460hp S2000 on Tsukuba.

I did the GTI race, Euro Hatch, and some European race with an 05 GTI with only a Stage 2 turbo, racing i/c, and racing brakes. I think I tuned the ASM to a very aggressive oversteer since FF sucks. I didn't get all golds on the Euro hatch but won the series. I bought the racing exhaust which bumps you from the previous mods I listed of like 256hp to 283hp and owned the rest of the golds. Very minimal dollars needed.
