Good keyboard
Good keyboard
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy a external keyboard to use for my Laptop.... hopefully something on the slim side, but sturdy. It doesn't really matter if its wireless, or requires a USB port. Any suggestions?
I use Key Tronic keyboards exclusively. They're not slim, but they are indestructable. There's a unique tactile response their keyboards have that suits me very well.
Oh, and their choice of keyboard layouts is great; that's another primary reason. I love the large "L" enter key.

i've been using a cordless logitech keyboard. don't remember the model number. it came in a box with a cordless mouse too. but i've been using it for the past 6 years or so. it's quiet and soft, which i like.
I recently got a Logitech Illuminated Keyboard:

I really like it. It is slim and sturdy, and the keys have the feel of a laptop keyboard. Plus it has back-lit keys. It's not cheap, but I had a gift certificate so it didn't hurt my wallet as much.

I don't use the insert key much so it's not that big of a deal. What bothers me is the key arrangement. If you're used to certain keys being in certain locations, you have to retrain yourself as to where they are.

The QWERTY layout is already the least efficient way of typing to begin with, no need to make it more complicated.
I have the same exact keyboard and I love it. It's very sleek, buttons don't click and clack when you press on them (well, not as noticeable as my old keyboard), and it illuminates with 3 different brightness setting when it gets dark and an off setting when you don't need it.
