the game looks dope and has enormous potential. but the graphics also look kinda dated. but if its anything like a GTA style game in old new york..sounds dope

If it's anything like "Mafia" that dropped in 2002, then I'm definately getting it. That was one of the best games I've played.

It is pretty good.

I have just started playing it. I am still trying to get used to the controls.

 

yeah i got it last night, i played the intro movie, but havent had a chance to start playing yet....but it looks pretty good.

I just made it as a "soldier" and overall I think it's a pretty good game. I think they should have added a few more things, such as the ability to get some fellow corleones to come with you on missions, or to do drive bys. Which brings me to another thing, you can't shoot while your driving the car. Something like GTA would have been sufficient. I think thats it for now.

I think I liked Mafia City of Lost Haven that came out in 2002 better. It just felt more solid to me, and arguably the graphics were better. You guys should definately check it out if you guys like The Godfather

I'm at 55% with only 2 days of playing it.

 

I just beat the story part the other day. Its a pretty quick play through. 10 hours at max if you dont try to become don of new york city, (just becoming don means you beat the game part). The only thing i dont like is the excess driving. its not like gta driving where interesting things happen around you, its just plain tedious and hard to get around. I'd say rent it, because you'll get through it quick.
