It is a new game for the PS2 that has gotten some very good reviews. I think I will have to pick this game up

Wow, those are some good scores. Game does look pretty cool though, hopefully its not just more of the same. Let us know if you get it, how it is.

wow, ever since GT4 came out, I've been in a timewarp.... I've forgotten they are still making other games too. :P I checked out some of the reviews, looks like a Tomb Raider type of game kinda. Except, no hot chick.

Ninja Gaiden was awesome. Play that shit on hard and you'll break controllers like nothing. I couldn't HIT the first boss on hard. Beat it on normal. Fun but frustrating. Imagine that flying bitch boss on Hard.

 

Hmm since we just got an Xbox during Christmas, I think it's time to check the hype on Gaiden.

 

I watched my roommate was play it yesterday.

Pretty fucking cool.

 

The graphics are awesome, the story is pretty good, but it's the control that makes the game. You can do combos and stuff which are so freaking cool. Not to mention the jumping off walls, off tops of enemies heads, and climbing walls. The bosses are cool too.

 

I usually only buy games that have a high game play time value. I beat this in just over 9 hours which I think is weak sauce, but the game was just so cool that I am ok with that.

 

Sounds like I need to rent it.

I think Ninja Gaiden has lots of replay value. There are tons of secrets, it's fun, and it's challenging. Doing those combos are just sick.

From the boss battles to the cut scenes to the cinematic feel of the game, to the actual innovation in puzzle solving and fighting..........WOW. The fact I love Greek Mythology makes it even better. The only thing that pisses me off are the Gorgons.........cheap fucking insta-kill moves, and they send THREE at you at one time! They are the only reasons I've ever died........

But, anyone who owns a PS2, I strongly recommend you rent this game. It's the most testosterone filled experience I've had in a long time.......

I just picked this game up. It's been out for awhile, and is a PS2 best seller, so it's only $20. It's an awesome game, I highly recommend it if you like action/adventure games where you slice up enemies and solve a few puzzles along the way. The sequel comes out in February I believe.

Indeeeeeeeed, it is an awesome game, but hard at times.

God of War 2 should pick up right where #1 left off, with some snazzier graphics and enemies

 

At $20, sounds like you need to buy it.
