I need help... I'm planning only to get one of these games, because if I get both they will consume my social life.

Which one has more replay value in single player, multi-player, and online play? I know they're different, but what have you been playing more and what are you playing today?

 

Online= RSV

Offline= GoW

Which do you prefer

 

 

I'd recommend getting both. Gears is a fairly short game, but well worth the experience IMO.

RS:V has more staying power to me due to the better online game, but both are worth playing.

I've actually played both games through their single player twice, which is really really rare. I'm actually going through Gears a third time on Insane

 

nothing beats gears of war. GOW is all about the online play.

 

I ended up getting RSV. Its addicting to say the least... I try to walk away from the console and do something else.... go out, run errands, whatever... but when I get home I'm back to sitting in front of the TV again. Been playing terrorist hunt over and over with different weapons and different maps. I don't see much of a difference between normal and realistic besides getting one less of each grenade and less ammo.

I'll go on LIVE once I get a little more comfortable to the game. I don't even play games much... the last game I bought was GRAW. I've only been playing RSV for 2 days and I've already passed the Calypso area.

 

I think Gears is fuckin awesome online...check it out.

You made the right decision, GOW was solid but short and unless you like getting killed by 12 yr olds all the time then RSV is far and above the better online experience.

 

GoW. If you want , I'll sell you my copy of Rainbow 6. R6V was the first time I've ever beaten a Tom Clancy game. Traditionally, I hate the pacing of TC games, but I weathered the storm on this one. It was OK, but now I want to get rid of it. PM me if you want it for $40 (Shipped).
