Forza

How many people on here play Forza Motorsport?
Who would be willing to have a Forza Time Trial?

I've got it, but would have to re hook my old xbox up to do time trials, the new one doesn't emulate it verry well.

Car: ??
Tires: ??
Mods: ??
Other Restrictions if any: ??

Why not do one of the same ones that was done in the gt4 thread on a car with no mods, just for kicks, we could see what the time diffierences were.

Otherwise i'm up for a cl-s on blue mountain

i say you guys do a completely stock SL65, on the track hong kong... err..... nvm. dont think you guys have a hong kong track..

i say you guys do a car and a track on GT4 and then compare times.

i say the next round for the GT4 time trial thread and the forza one should be a NSX (non -r) on laguna seca, stock no oil change etc.. you can use asm and tcs if you want.. and then we shoud compare it to the times that JC did in real life

the thing is if you look carefully, you'll notice hes using a NSX-R instead of just a regular base NSX in GT4, and on the track hes using the base NSX. That could account for the extra like 14 or so seconds of difference.

I dont think a 14 second difference is caues of the NSX vs. NSX-R. they ared the same hp, but the r is lighted. no ac no stereo, things like that. bassically a race car.

Also what is the engine code for the NSX and the CL-S. could it be done. they are both posistioned the same way. They are both j somethings, so could a person just get a nsx cam and ecu pistons and throw it all in a cl-s motor???

NSX motor is a 90 degree motor, the CLS motor is a 60 degree motor, both 3.2's but the NSX motor form what i head is bigger but thats what i have heard about the two motors. but that would be sweet.

if i remember the NSX motor is the C series, and the CL-S is the J

the NSX motor is bigger because its DOHC (there are probably other reasons too) while the CL-S J series is just SOHC

im sure itd be possible to do it in real life, permitting that it'll fit and you have the money.

well... maybe not a 14 second difference, but the NSX-R has a better suspension and chassis allowing it to take corners faster/less body roll etc., and the lighter weight and less power robbing stuff, it'll definately be faster than the base NSX..

hmm... maybe for one of the next GT4 trials we can do a 2-way challenge, a normal NSX and a NSX Type-R @ Laguna Seca, you run both cars and see what you can come up with.

you guys can do it here too.

sounds good to me, as long as i can find my old broken xbl headset.

2:10.681 i set the car up so the tail would hang out a bit entering corners, seemed to help.
