traded in one of my soon to be sold psp games for it.
well lets see where to start....
It's a FPS, where as you are part of this team that is trying to stop a murderer and other government agents @ the same time.
The game is VERY freaky . The enemies in this regardless of there level, deal alot of damage, and every bullet counts. Ammo/health are available, you can hold up to 10 health packs @ a time, becuase you do need it.
There is a thing called "slowmo" sort of like bullet time, where as everything slows up, and its key in fighting off your enemies.
The game is freaky for a few reasons, this murderer, is im guessing, as im not quite sure about the background story yet, a psychic, who is constantly talking about this girl. The girl is the one from the picture (on the box), who appears/along with the murderer in flash scenes with extremely scary music/darkness. It will keep you on the edge of your seat,.
Multiplayer is alot of fun, not as many guns, but fast paced and wide variety of levels , deathmatch, team death match, capture the flag, "slowmo" play....
overall, i say its a great game to pick up.

I was thinking about picking it up, but I've heard the game is a huge resource hog. Can you give us an idea of what kind of rig you have, what game settings you're using, and what sort of FPS your're getting?

I saw it at Microcenter on Saturday and was like should I get it...hmm I'm not gonna drop 40.00 randomly maybe later kinda thing. Now I wish I would ahev grabbed it. One scary game at a time for me. I'm in the Delta labs for Doom 3. When this is done and I calm down a little bit I'll grab F.E.A.R. What does that stand for in the game besides the old False Evidence Appearing Real Acronym?

shit i stopped playing doom cause my computer is teh suck... i dont think im gonna get any new games until i get a new computer whenver that will be.. probably not for a while cause i got other priorities

well that it is
im running dell xps 3.4 ghz
1 gig ram
x800xt graphics card
settings automaticaly adjust so i dont really know, and i dont know what FPS i get, although i do know now that im far into the game and alot more is happening my rig is under stress.
