processlibrary.com is great you can look up any process you find running on your computer and it will tell you where it came from, a risk assesment, how much it eats up computer, if its safe to turn off, and what kind of errors are associated with it. very helpfull for those processes that are not obvious as to what they are for such as iexplorer.exe
its crazy as how the site sats they been running since 04 but i been googling processes since windows 95, granted its not like i do it everyday but you get the idea, and i never came across it or anything like it. none of the computer inclined people i talked to at work today knew about it so i though i would share with AZ.
i stumbled on it while looking to make sure i got all the remains of a nasty program desigend to look like ms security, trying to tell me to put in my credit card inorder to buy the "full version" to get rid of all the "trojans" it found during a "scan" of my computer the shit looked pretty real and if i didnt know better i would have gone for it sadly the speed of the "scan" was a dead giveaway not to mention a lot of other little things that didnt add up.
