Connecting an Xbox 360 to your home network
Has anyone done it yet, i got the windows media extender to recognize and approve file sharing with my xbox, now what do i do on the xbox side? it just keeps telling me to visit some website which i already have and downloaded all the necesary shit. Has anyone done this yet? any pointers? and no the intrusctions included do not help.

Yup.. I've done it. You actually need to install the software while your 360 is connected to the network and at the screen with the website showing up.
I installed the software the first time before I had the 360 on and it didn't work. If you install it at that screen, you will see it register your 360.
Once the software is set up, you can share folders on your PC which can be used by the 360. I use it all the time to stream my mp3's from my PC to my 360 while I'm playing the games.

thanks i thought i did that buy maybe it wasnt on that screen thanks! oh and when are you supposd to use that 8 digit number that the 360 gives us?
