Is it WPA only?

I can't get mine online either. It browses for a network but can't find it. This pisses me off because my Wii and PS3 are sitting right next to it and they connect fine.

Anyways, I have WPA protection on my router instead of WEP as it seems that Microsoft prefers it. I don't remember if the 360 supports both.

If you have your WEP key (its underneath your router, its either 5, 10, 13 or 26 digits) it should prompt you to enter the WEP key once you select a network that has a WEP key. Unplug your internet connection to your 360. Are you connected with some sort of wireless networking device or are you connected directly into the router?

unless the wireless hub you are using is specifically for the 360, or some accepted kind, the 360 won't recognize it as a wireless router.

you will have to connect it to a computer first and set it up, then connect it to your 360.

the official 360 wireless setup doesn't have this problem.

thanks microsoft for being dicks and forcing people to buy your shit if they wan't it easy.

I tried running WPA on my dlink and had trouble. I had to switch to 64bit WEP for it to work
